Back in the Days - the Leica M3

Every now and again I like to pick up a film camera and "guess" at the correct exposure. Remember the days when you took a picture and moved on knowing that it will be a few days until you know if it turned out or not? Digital tends to make us on the fly editors of our images - which can be a good thing at times.

The Leica M3 was produced from 1954-1968 and at that time was the "new hotness." Nowadays Leica has made the step into the digital world with its rangefinder M8. Leica is a wonderful camera and tends to hold its value well, however, one needs to bring their wallet when purchasing a Leica. Good thing mine was handed down to me by my mom :)

All these images were taken on a farm in La Vernia, TX. La Vernia is about 30 minutes north east of San Antonio.
